2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website, register for a workshop or purchase any programme from us, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it.
By using this website or registering for a workshop, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
When you register for a workshop or purchase a programme, we collect your name, your WhatsApp or mobile number, your email address, and payment confirmation details returned to us by our payment processor (transaction identifier, amount, date and payment status).
If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or any other channel, we collect the contents of that communication and any information you choose to include in it.
If you take part in a live session, we may collect the display name you use and any message you send in the session chat.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit this website we automatically collect your IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system and screen size, the pages you visit, how long you spend on them and how far you scroll, and the website or advertisement that referred you to us including campaign parameters in the link you clicked.
3.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking credentials or any other payment instrument details. Payments are processed by our payment processor and those details are entered directly on their systems. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not register for our workshops or submit any information to us. If we become aware that we hold data belonging to a child, we will delete it.

| Processing payment | Passing your details to our payment processor to complete the transaction |
| Communicating with you | Answering your questions, sending confirmations and receipts |

You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time without affecting your ability to attend anything you have already paid for. See section 8.
5. Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and may advertise on Google. To measure whether our advertising works we use tracking technologies including the Meta Pixel and similar tools.
These tools tell us, for example, how many people who saw an advertisement went on to visit this page, how far down the page they read, and how many completed a registration. Where these tools share data with the platform, it may be used by that platform to show you our advertisements again, or to find people similar to you.
You can limit this through your browser cookie settings, your device’s advertising settings, and the ad preference controls offered by Meta and Google.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage to make the site function, to hold your registration details while you complete checkout and to remember that you have dismissed a pop-up (necessary); to understand how people use the page (analytics); and to measure and target our advertising as described in section 5 (advertising).
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working.
7. Who we share your information with
We share personal data only with the following recipients, and only to the extent necessary:
- Our payment processor, Razorpay Software Private Limited, to process your payment
- Our hosting and database provider, to store your registration securely
- Our communication tools, to send you joining links, reminders and receipts by email and WhatsApp
- Our video conferencing provider, to run the live sessions you attend
- Our advertising platforms, as described in section 5
- Our accountants and professional advisers, where required
- Government authorities, courts or law enforcement, where we are legally obliged to disclose
Some of these service providers may process or store data outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data receives an appropriate level of protection.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access the data we hold about you and how we use it; correction of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date; erasure of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it; to withdraw consent for any processing that relies on it; to grievance redressal, complaining to us and escalating to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied; and to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@svcommunity.in. We will respond within a reasonable period and in any case within the timelines required by law.
To stop receiving marketing messages, use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to any WhatsApp message, or email us.
9. How long we keep your information
Registration and attendance records: three years after your last interaction with us. Transaction and invoice records: eight years, as required under Indian tax and companies legislation. Marketing contact details: until you withdraw consent. Website analytics data: typically twenty-six months.
After these periods, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
10. How we protect your information
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the website, restrict access to personal data to those who need it, and rely on reputable service providers with their own security controls. Payment data never reaches our systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
